5 Stars Perfect gift for any “JACK” you may know
Great colorful book with a fun theme for kids. My two year old son and several friends have received books from this series and they all love it. There is also an interactive website to go along with the book series. If you know a little boy named JACK, then this is a fun book for him! Jack the Truck is the main character.
5 Stars this author is on to something!
My husband and I heard the author interviewed on NPR, and immediately checked out his books for our 2 1/2 year old Grandson. We’ve bought a few of Jon Scieszka’s books for him now and he ADORES them. My daughter tells me he must have them read to him several times a day. What better recommendation could there be?

This adorable book has great rhythm and rhyme to keep boys interested in reading. My two year old makes us read it several times a day and can repeat several of the pages on his own. Great book for little boys that love trucks!
3 Stars Nice pictures, not much story
The pictures are just lovely–colorful. However, the story isn’t really a story—there are only a few words on each page basically just describing types of trucks. I wish it had a rhythmic story to catch my son’s attention.

This book not only has beautiful pictures and text, but describes each type of truck. The character is lovable and easy for the child to relate.

5 Stars I LOVE I LOVE TRUCKS!
My 2 1/2 year old son is a huge truck fan. This book is great. I love the information on the front cover and first page, and back page and cover give. It’s a bunch of facts that make the book that much more fun to read. The actual book is simple and easy to read. I can do “short form” by just reading the book, or I can do “long form” and go over all the trucks on the pages and covers. Whatever we do, we have a great time reading this together. What a great book!

Perfect book in size for small hands, and vivid colors for inquisitive eyes. Any little tyke who enjoys trucks will love this book. My grandson is one of these tykes.
